MASTER OF COMMERCE – MCOM
Program Overview
Master of Commerce (M.Com) is a 2-year post graduate course offered in Commerce. It has a total of 4 semesters designed by Bangalore University to enhance one’s skill and knowledge in the areas of Research, Teaching, Accounting, Taxation, Finance, Cost Management, Human Resource Management, Entrepreneurship and other related fields.
Course Dimensions:
- Fosters to the needs of the society by promoting and developing Higher Education and Research Orientation.
- Provides student- focused education in a professional and cordial environment with quality as a main frame.
- Provides holistic learning environment through – Research related field visits; Lessons Delivered by CAs, CMAs and Industry Veterans; Seminars, Guest Lecture related to IPR; Research Methodology and Commerce.
MCOM at ASC
Established during the academic year 2017 – 2018, Department of PG Studies in Commerce (M.Com) fosters to the need of the society by promoting and developing Higher Education and Research Orientation. The Department promises to provide student – focused education in a professional and cordial environment with quality as a main frame.
The department has a forum – TARANG to enhance the entrepreneurial skills of the student besides acquainting them with the teaching proficiency. The forum regularly conducts various inter – class competitions focussing on current trends and requirements. The department has a platform “Samshodana” to inculcate research orientation in students.
